Proven run-producer that is second only to Terry Steinbach in Minnesota's history for RBIs during his first two years with the program. He has a knack for driving in runners, showing a very patient eye and controlled, level swing from the left side of the plate. Most of his power is from gap to gap, but he can reach the double digits in home runs. Defensively Hunter can be a little stiff at times around the back, but he shows soft hands and a strong arm as a former catcher. Hunter was a draft-eligible sophomore a year ago after red-shirting his freshman year, but he went undrafted. He should go within the top 10 rounds this June.
