Shorter and smaller two-way star that is a very good athlete. While his future is on the mound, Posey is also a very good shortstop, with good infield actions, range, hands and a strong throwing arm. He also has a potent bat, and continually surprises oppenents with his pop given his build. On the mound he usses an effortless delivery to pump low-90s fastballs. He has a good overall repertoire with a power curveball, an advanced changeup and a slider. He has committed to play for Florida State, where he would be allowed to continue to play both as a hitter and as a pitcher.
