| Cardenas is quickly rising up draft charts this spring with a big year at the plate, hitting double digit home runs as a high school shortstop. He has drawn plenty of attention from scouts playing alongside third baseman Chris Marrero, who is widely considered a first-round pick. Cardenas may not go that high, but he could go in rounds two through four. He's far from an unknown however, as he played with Team USA last summer. |
