Doyle is a big-bodied righty that is more about changing speeds and location than he is about velocity. His fastball sits in the upper-80s, but he can reach back for a few more ticks when he needs them. He has a solid overall repertoire, highlighted by an advanced changeup that consistently fools hitters. He was named the 18th best prospect in the Cape Cod League last summer by Baseball America, and his summer was highlighted by a no-hitter. He was second n the league in strikeouts with 52, which proves that he leaves batters second guessing. Given his plus changeup and the fact that he has more velocity in shorter stints, his body and stuff may be better suited in a short relief role.
