In regards to size and stuff, Cook has it all. He has the perfect pitcher's frame at 6'4", 200 pounds, with plenty of room for added strength as he continues to mature. His fastball has touched the mid-90s, he has a potential knock-out slider and he throws a split-finger fastball that serves as his offspeed pitch. With his size and stuff his mechanics need some work, as he struggles to repeat his delivery and release point, and he is going to need to refine that area in his game to avoid future problems and/or injury. He has committed to play for Pepperdine.
