Blair is a very good overall athlete, and is an accomplished high school hitter on top of his pitching accolades. He has been one of the top pitchers in Northern California for several years now. He has a unique, crouched over stance from the windup. All of his pitches show very good movement. His fastball sits in the 89-91 range, and dips and dives as it reaches the plate. He has a very good slow curveball, although he can rely on that pitch a little more than he should. He changeup is an average pitch and rounds out his repertoire nicely. He can struggle with his control at times, and will need to improve the command of his fastball so he doesn't rely on his curve as much. He was an Aflac All-American, and has committed to play for the University of San Diego.
