Zawacki's performance last in the summer and into the fall has allowed him to soar up draft charts heading into this spring. He touched 94 at the WWBA Jupiter Tournament, and that velocity is starting to creep more consistently into that range. He has also found more consistency with his curve and changeup, giving him a solid three-pitch repertoire, and he committed to Arizona State along with area talent Seth Blair. He is a good overall athlete that received a lot of interest as a third baseman for his powerful arm and bat. His future lies on the mound with his increased velocity and improved consistency.
