Few players are rising up follow charts as quickly as Crosby is, who has only started to devote his attention to baseball over the last 6-12 months. In addition to his increased focus in baseball, he has grown several inches over the past year, and his velocity has spiked up about 10 miles per hour. He now works comfortably in the 87-90 range, and can touch 92. Given the way his velocity has moved up over the last year, there's no reason to believe that it has peaked. His body is still growing, and there is plenty of room for added strength. Both his curveball and his changeup are solid offerings given the stage of his development, and he is one of many talented prep pitchers from the Northern Illinois region. He has committed to play at Illinois.
