Date of Birth: 9/12/89
School: El Modena (CA) Rank: 82
Freeman's power potential is among the best in his class, as he is built like a classic power hitter. He doesn't get cheated at the plate, with a very big swing from the left side of the plate that is no unlike former Aflac All-American Cody Johnson. He has a similar slightly open stance as Johnson, and an intimidating, imposing presence. He is one of the more accomplished prep hitters that has dominated the prep ranks in talent-rich Southern California. Defensively his body and speed probably restrict him to first base, but he is nimble enough on his feet with a strong arm to be a good defender at first. He has committed to play at Cal State Fullerton.
