Rupp won the Home Run Derby at the Aflac All-American Classic last summer, showing his mighty power thanks to his equally mighty frame and swing. That big swing has a lot of holes in it right now which will lead to a lot of strikeouts at the next level if he doesn't start to control his swing, and the strike zone, better. Defensively he may profile better at first base, as his big body is a little on the stiff side, and he struggles blocking balls in the dirt. To no surprise given his incredible physical tools, he does have a very strong arm that will make it hard to run off of him. He has decided to commit in-state with the Texas Longhorns.
