Inman is a very impressive pitcher whose stuff and projectability continue to keep scouts interested despite inconsistent results. He commands his 90-94 FB extremely well, mixed in a very nasty change in the 79-81 range and also had a very sharp CB in the 77-80 range. He changes speeds and locations very well, and also fields his position well. He has a nice pitching frame with wiry strong limbs and good proportions, and has a very cool and confident presence in which it seems as though nothing phases him. His FB had some dip to it, and I think his stuff is going to be a lot harder to hit when facing hitters armed with a wood bat. Consistency as noted is an issue, and that seems to be due to a lack of focus and consistent mechanics. If he's able to put everything together for his junior year, he could easily vault up into the discussion for the top 10 overall picks.
