Polished lefty with a big, strong frame. Despite his size, Jackson is not overpowering, and is at his best changing speeds & hitting his spots. He throws his fastball in the 87-90 range, while mixing in a very good changeup. His curveball has the makings of a plus pitch, but has been inconsistent up to this point. He has a very smooth & clean arm action & good mechanics. His makeup is also considered to be a plus attribute. Jackson transferred to Texas A&M from Louisville after his sophomore year, and is a big reason the Aggies have been successful this spring.
