Nice batch of minor leaguers here - surely a few will make their mark in baseball history. Use the Internet to learn about the history of baseball, from baseball drafts to baseball drills.
  Power 50
+/- Rank  Name  Level  Pos  Age
 01 Fielder, Prince   A   1B 35 L R
A now monthlong slump has seen Prince's batting average dip into the low .240's, and isn't doing anything to guarantee himself the #1 spot on the Power 50 much longer
 02 Hardy, J.J.   MLB   SS 37 R R
J.J.'s shoulder surgery went all, and now the most important part - rehab - shall begin
 03 Weeks, Rickie   A   2B 37 R R
There was chatter about how Weeks should have been #2 after Hardy's injury, but he's much closer to #4 at the moment
1  04 Nelson, Brad   A   1B 37 L R
Finally, one of the top prospects is hitting! Brad had an awesome month of May and will push his way into the top three if he keeps it up
1  05 Hart, Corey   A   OF 37 R R
Promotion to Milwaukee didn't last long, but his 1 big league at-bat is more than most of us have... he's back in Indy where he should be
1  06 Hendrickson, Ben   MLB   SP 38 R R
Good to see Ben in a Milwaukee uniform, and though he was sent back down after the game, it gives us all something to look forward to
1  07 Parra, Manny   A   MR 37 L L
Slowly, but surely, Manny is getting back to his old form and he'll start dominating the Cal League like he should
 08 Jones, Mike   A   MR 36 R R
With the elbow back to feeling good, Mike should return to the Stars' active roster in the next week
 09 Krynzel, Dave   MLB   CF 38 L L
No new updates on Dave's broken foot, so it's still assumed he'll be back in late June or early July
1  10 Palmisano, Lou   A   C 37 R R
The Cap'n is slumping at the plate a little right now, but a promotion to High Desert is still in the offing in the second half of the season
1  11 De La Rosa, Jorge   MLB   MR 38 L L
Went on the DL for precautionary reasons as a result of a sore shoulder... allegedly will miss only one or two starts
 12 Ford, Matt   A   MR 38 S L
Back in the saddle after a few weeks off, hopefully this was the last we'll hear of Matt's elbow for awhile
 13 Eveland, Dana   MLB   SP 36 L L
Call me crazy, but it might be time to free Dana from only starting every other time through the rotation opposite Greg Moreira - it is important that Dana gets his work in, so he needs to start every fifth day
2  14 Sarfate, Dennis   MLB   MR 38 R R
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that Sarfate will be the Brewers' Pitcher of the Month for June
4  15 Adams, Mike   MLB   CL 41 R R
Not too many guys allow only 2 hits and 1 walk in their first 9 Major League innings pitched
2  16 Liriano, Pedro   A   SP 39 R R
After one of the best starts of his career, Pedro has laid down a few real stinkers that have made his ERA balloon past 5.00
 17 Bennett, Jeff   A   MR 39 R R
A this pace, Jeff will graduate off the Power 50 sometime in July, commencing one of the shortest runs ever on the Power 50
3  18 Gwynn Jr, Tony   MLB   OF 37 L R
Junior still has an ugly number of strikeouts, and his whole game has really picked up lately
5  19 Saenz, Chris   A   SP 38 R R
Chris heeded my comment of him last time and dropped his ERA a full point with two excellent starts
2  20 Ballouli, Khalid   A   SP 39 R R
Yah, it's just not going well for Khalid right now, but I still believe!
1  21 Moss, Steve   A   CF 35 R R
If the Brewers draft a college outfielder pretty high in the draft, it is feasible that he could go to Beloit and Moss could back to Helena, where he has all of 8 career at-bats
1  22 Diggins, Ben   A   MR 40 R R
Another pitcher that's going to have to fight for a spot in the rotation when he gets actived to Huntsville
3  23 Belcher, Jason   A   RF 37 L R
The Stars were literally down to nine position players, and who didn't start? This guy... that's not right
2  24 Bruso, Greg   A   SP 39 R R
With the overloaded pitching staff in Huntsville, Greg might have to "rehab" in High Desert when he gets back and healthy
3  25 Housman, Jeff   A   MR 38 L L
Been hit around a little his past few times out, proving that the WonderLefty is indeed human
1  26 Vanden Berg, John   A   C 39 R R
As was the story about this time last season, Vandy is keeping the average up, but is still lagging in the walk department, which might be keeping him from a quick promotion
2  27 Crabbe, Callix   A   UT 36 S R
The OBP is approaching .400 again, so even with Weeks in Huntsville, if Callix keeps hitting...
1  28 Gemoll, Brandon   A   1B 39 L L
Now that he has the chance to start every day in AAA (or, he at least he should have the chance), Brandon needs to prove me right and earn himself a spot on the Brewers' roster
1  29 Bausher, Tim   A   SP 40 R R
In a strange move, Bausher was removed from the 40-man roster, so we'll have to see what the future holds for the Funky Chicken
2  30 Woolard, Glenn   A   SP 38 R R
Huntsville has not been as kind to Glenn as High Desert was, and there's no room in the rotation at the moment
new  31 Harper, Jesse   A   SP 39 R R
Nice steal by Melvin to get this kid from Toronto on waivers... he's not a top of the rotation prospect, but he has a chance to be a decent Major League pitcher
7  32 Hawk, Tommy   A   SP 34 R R
The first high schooler from the 2003 draft to be promoted to full-season ball - congrats, Tommy!
2  33 Johnson, Kade   A   C 41 R R
Just taken off the 40-man roster to make room for a backup outfielder in Milwaukee, it's time to put up or shut up for the former 2nd round pick
1  34 Rottino, Vinny   MLB   UT 39 R R
OBP is really beginning to be hurt by Vinny's lack of plate patience and that may hold him back from being promoted
2  35 Fermaint, Charlie   A   CF 34 R R
With a glut of CF types in Arizona this summer, I still think it may be a good idea to try Charlie in the infield
8  36 Chavez, Ozzie   A   IF 36 S R
Ozzie's ping-pong ball bounce around the Power 50 continues after a very strong May that puts him in contention for a Player of the Month award
3  37 Wooley, Robbie   A   SP 35 R R
With Hawk's promotion to Beloit, Robbie becomes the de facto ace of the Helena rotation, pending next Monday's draft of course
2  38 Kloosterman, Greg   A   SP 37 L L
When Kloosterman comes off the DL, he should be placed back in Helena to earn his way back to Beloit
6  39 Cruz, Enrique   A   SS 38 R R
About ready to fall of the face of the earth if he doesn't start making good, consistent contact
1  40 Boyd, Dan   A   RF 41 R R
Like fellow Maverick outfielder Chris Morris, Boyd would be a good choice to go to Huntsville pretty soon so that the Stars actually have some extra players
1  41 Opdyke, Bryan   A   C 35 L R
There is little chance that Opdyke will get to Beloit this season, even when Cap'n Lou is promoted to High Desert because the 'Crew has some more experienced guys that should go there before Bryan
1  42 Hinton, Travis   AA   1B 39 L L
TH is second only to Jeff Liefer among all Brewer minor leaguers in RBIs, with 37 of 'em
5  43 Acosta, Gilberto   A   SS 37 S R
Things keep going from bad to worse for Gilberto in Beloit, so it won't be a big surprise if he gets sent down to Helena when their season opens in a few weeks
1  44 Slack, Nick   A   CL 36 R R
Nick is on pace to appear in more than 50 games for the Mavericks, which is a lot for a minor league pitcher
1  45 Rodriguez, Guilder   A   IF 36 S R
Has been mysteriously absent from the Snappers' lineup for awhile now with no sign of injury
1  46 Stewart, Paul   A   MR 41 R R
The magic is not continuing so much in AAA, but Brewerfan loves Paul, so Paul stays on the Power 50
1  47 Taubenheim, Ty   A   SP 37 R R
Things are still a little rocky in closer-land, but Ty will be just find, and should still make it to High Desert by the end of the season
1  48 Morris, Chris   A   CF 40 S R
Why is Chris Morris not in Huntsville right now? They need warm bodies, and Chris has sure as heck earned it by now
new  49 Heether, Adam   MLB   IF 37 R R
No, I wouldn't have guessed that Adam Heether would have almost twice as many extra base hits as Cap'n Lou a couple months into the season
new  50 Bibbs, Kennard   A   RF 39 L L
KB keeps doing what he does well, but he still really needs to take his skill set to another level to become a full-fledged big league prospect

Players removed this week: Drew Anderson... Chris Capuano... Carlos Ramirez...
