Nice batch of minor leaguers here - surely a few will make their mark in baseball history. Use the Internet to learn about the history of baseball, from baseball drafts to baseball drills.

  Power 50
+/- Rank  Name  Level  Pos  Age
 01 Fielder, Prince   A   1B 35 L R
Only hit three home runs in the month of June, and I guarantee that'll be the last time he only hits three in a full month
 02 Hardy, J.J.   MLB   SS 37 R R
It's a testament to J.J.'s skill that he could stay at #2 and hold off Weeks while being injured - can't wait 'til next year
 03 Weeks, Rickie   A   2B 37 R R
Rickie is finally putting some numbers together in AA (outside of getting hit by pitches), and is putting pressure on the #2 slot on the Power 50
 04 Hart, Corey   A   OF 37 R R
Batting average continues to fluctuate wildly - it's down to .277 now after being at .295 a few weeks ago
1  05 Hendrickson, Ben   MLB   SP 38 R R
Will be called up Monday to fill Obermueller's spot in the rotation, and will hopefully stay there for a long time
1  06 Nelson, Brad   A   1B 36 L R
I'd like to see Brad try and not hit home runs for awhile so he can work on making some better contact and developing his strike zone
 07 Parra, Manny   A   MR 37 L L
I keep flip-flopping on whether I'd rather have Manny in High Desert or Huntsville, and I guess I'd be fine with him staying there for a while longer
 08 Palmisano, Lou   A   C 37 R R
Will be away from the team for a little for personal reasons, and when he comes back, I'll bet he goes on a tear
2  09 Krynzel, Dave   MLB   CF 38 L L
Went on a tear this week to boost the ol' batting average by about 70 points - would be nice if Dave could keep up his .381 OBP
 10 Rogers, Mark   A   SP 33 R R
Hasn't taken the mound in a game for the Baby Brewers in awhile, but there's no word of injury either
1  11 De La Rosa, Jorge   MLB   MR 38 L L
The walk rate is slowly coming down, and if Jorge kees it down, he'll be back in line to earn a call-up this year
3  12 Jones, Mike   A   MR 36 R R
The three words you never want to hear about a pitcher: bad shoulder problem - Mike might be in for a long ride on this one
 13 Eveland, Dana   MLB   SP 36 L L
Something tells me that the Brewers are going to skip Eveland and his tendency to give up home runs past High Desert and straight to Huntsville next year
 14 Adams, Mike   MLB   CL 41 R R
Has allowed an earned run in only three of his nineteen appearances this year
 15 Ford, Matt   A   MR 38 S L
Matt still isn't at more than 4 innings or about 70 pitches, so the Brewers are being very cautious with him
1  16 Bennett, Jeff   A   MR 39 R R
The month of July has not been kind to Jeff, though you couldn't convince Yost that he shouldn't be used in tight circumstances late in games; only 6.2 innings away from graduating off of the Power 50, so this may be his last time on here... good luck!
1  17 Gallardo, Yovani   A   SP 33 R R
Yo made his pro debut recently with the Baby Brewers, and was solid, working two innings, allowing a run on three hits with no walks and four K's
2  18 Sarfate, Dennis   MLB   MR 38 R R
If things stay the way they are, Dennis may not even be handed a promotion next spring because he hasn't earned it
 19 Gwynn Jr, Tony   MLB   OF 37 L R
Gwynn has flattened out at the plate after a good May and early June, not making the progress that we hoped to see
 20 Liriano, Pedro   A   SP 39 R R
Fifth in the International League in home runs allowed, which doesn't bode well for pitching in Miller Park
3  21 Housman, Jeff   A   MR 38 L L
Has earned the right to fill Hendrickson's spot in the Indy rotation, but the Brewers will probably keep him in Huntsville anyway
 22 Moss, Steve   A   CF 35 R R
If Steve can just get to about .250-.260 by the end of the season, I'll be happy
 23 Baker, Josh   A   MR 37 R R
It's not the domination you hope for from a high-round college draft pick, but I'll be much more worried if it is still like this this time next year
1  24 Diggins, Ben   A   MR 40 R R
Big Ben is still trying to find the strike zone in Arizona, but after not pitching for a year, that's understandable
4  25 Saenz, Chris   A   SP 38 R R
Out for the rest of the year with an elbow problem, strengthening the case for moving him to the bullpen
1  26 Woolard, Glenn   A   SP 38 R R
With the injury to Saenz, Woolard should be in the rotation for the Stars, and hopefully he'll capitalize on his opportunity
1  27 Bruso, Greg   A   SP 39 R R
Bruso might turn out to be the guy to replace the Huntsville pitcher that will be promoted to Indy shortly
 28 Wahpepah, Josh   A   MR 35 R R
The only Helena Brewer starter to have given up less than two home runs... that's something
1  29 Vanden Berg, John   A   C 39 R R
For the time being, John is above the sacred 10:1 AB:BB ratio - high five!
2  30 Harper, Jesse   A   SP 39 R R
Seems to have settled back down after a few rough starts with the Mavs, and doesn't need too much more time in A+ ball
2  31 Ballouli, Khalid   A   SP 39 R R
Only another month and a half to go until its all over, Khalid
1  32 Wooley, Robbie   A   SP 35 R R
It's about time Robbie got a few starts - he only leads the staff in ERA
2  33 Crabbe, Callix   A   UT 36 S R
Being the small guy that he is, Callix may just be getting tired here... hope he works through it
 34 Gemoll, Brandon   A   1B 39 L L
Even though he's not doing well right now, this will be good experience for Brandon next season
1  35 Fermaint, Charlie   A   CF 34 R R
Strikeouts are really, really starting to pile up for Charlie
2  36 Hinton, Travis   AA   1B 39 L L
Now if TH could only take some more walks, he'd be the perfect High Desert player
2  37 Hawk, Tommy   A   SP 34 R R
For the rest of the year, if you look at his stats, remember that he gave up 8 runs in one-third of an inning
1  38 Chavez, Ozzie   A   IF 36 S R
There's no chance that Ozzie will be demoted for the rest of the season, so let's hope this slump doesn't get too much worse
 39 Salome, Angel   A   OF 33 R R
Still no Salome, which is a bunch of bologna, and gets harder to take day by day, but one day we will say "Yay! There is Salome!"
1  40 Opdyke, Bryan   A   C 35 L R
Apparently has adopted the Ben Grieve style of batting, where you don't swing at anything
1  41 Slack, Nick   A   CL 36 R R
The Brewers might try starting Slack a few times at the end of the season to help him work on a few pitches before he gets to AA next year
4  42 Barnes, Justin   A   MR 37 R R
Leads the Pioneer League in strikeouts despite only starting three games... kudos to the Brewers for seeing that third base wasn't working out for Justin and moving him back to the mound quickly
2  43 Novinsky, John   A   MR 40 R R
Novinsky not being promoted to AAA probably has something to do with the Brewers' weird facination with Todd Erdos
4  44 Rottino, Vinny   MLB   UT 39 R R
This may be Vinny's last time on the Power 50 this season, but if he gets some patience at the plate, he has the ability to get himself back on sometime next year
2  45 Heether, Adam   MLB   IF 37 R R
Batting average is going the wrong way and the walk rate is sinking too, possibly as a result of getting a little too power-happy
2  46 Taubenheim, Ty   A   SP 37 R R
Ty just doesn't yet seem to have a knack for avoiding runs, which is something he'll need to figure out over the next few years
2  47 Iribarren, Hernan   MLB   2B 35 L R
Look out Rickie Weeks, Hernan is on the move
1  48 Stetter, Mitch   A   MR 38 L L
Now might be the time to finally get Stetter some looks in the rotation after seeing his domination as a reliever
1  49 Lewis, Will   A   UT 38 R R
  Why isn't Lewis starting 4-5 times a week? I don't know either
new  50 Mannon, Adam   A   RF 36 R R
One of Jack Z's many good DFE signings, Mannon has an ideal frame for the big leagues with good power potential, and he's starting to show some ability in Helena
