Vineyard is a very similar pitcher to Jack McGeary. They are of similar size, stature and overall athleticism, and they both command the strike zone very well with well-rounded repertoires. Vineyard's is highlighted by an advanced changeup that you don't find very often from a prep pitcher. While his fastball sits in the upper-80s, topping out around 91-92, it does offer nice, natural late movement that makes it hard to track out of his hand. He has a promising curveball as well.
