Rollie was great to me. After speaking with him, I'd describe him as a genuinely happy man, who loves his life. I was very pleased by that, it's nice to know one of your baseball heroes really is what you thought he was.

BF: Thanks Rollie, I've been a Brewer fan for a long time now, you're one of my baseball icons - thank you for agreeing to do this.

RF: No problem.

BF: OK, I'm a Brewers fan, writing for a Brewers site, I'll just get this out of the way, and ask you straight out. Would the Brewers have won the '82 World Series if you had been healthy?

RF: Basically every day of my life, someone will ask me something about my mustache, but when I get back to Milwaukee, I get, "I sure wish you had been healthy in '82."

You can't just come out and say the Brewers would have won it if I was healthy, because you never know which day you're going to come in and give up a home run
